Detroit Artists Market
We are Detroit Art. Detroit Artists Market is a non-profit gallery committed to contemporary art and to connecting artists, collectors and communities.
Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography
Its mission is to foster the appreciation and understanding of photography by promoting contemporary lens-based artists. DCCP works to encourage creative discourse and a visual understanding of the still and moving frame by offering online and pop-up exhibitions, print publications, and portfolio reviews. DCCP seeks to broaden its outreach among Detroit’s diverse communities through exhibitions and programming in collaboration with local institutions.
Habatat Galleries was established in 1971 in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. We are the oldest and largest art gallery in the United States devoted exclusively to artists working with glass as their medium.
Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD)
MOCAD is where adventurous minds encounter the best in contemporary visual, literary, music, and performing arts. A responsive center for diverse audiences, MOCAD presents art that contextualizes, interprets, educates and expands culture, pushing us to the edges of contemporary experience.
In 1999, a group of 12 local artists opened what has turned out to be Ann Arbor’s award-winning and longest running gallery. Each artist is featured in a rotating one-person exhibit lasting about 5-6 weeks. At the same time work by the other member artists is also on exhibit throughout the gallery.
