Library Conduct

1. Talking is allowed in the library but we do ask that you keep your voice down as to not interfere with others who may be studying.

2. Phone calls must be placed and taken outside of the library.

3. If you wish to listen to anything with a sound recording in the library, use headphones or earbuds.

  • If you wish to purchase headphones form us, we do sell them for $1.00 (cash only) when available.

4. Food and drinks are permitted in the library. We do ask that you have a secured lid on your beverage and that you clean up after yourself.

  • If you wish to sit at an area where a mess currently exists or need assistance cleaning up after yourself, please ask a staff member for help.

5. Access to the Albert Kahn Library may be obtained by emailing the library at least 24 hours in advance.

6. Any filming or photography in the library must be pre-approved by a LTU Librarian. Permission can be obtained by emailing the library at least 24 hours in advance.

7. During Fall and Spring semesters, the library hosts quiet study hours for LTU students only. Guests or alumni must leave before study hours start.

8. Study rooms and study tables are for LTU student and faculty use only.
